Join us this Sunday 11am at either ministry centre as we conclude our Advent Sunday series with the theme of "love". We have an all-age Youth Church at the Brightons Ministry Centre, and prayer times as usual.
Join us as we gather for live prayer online! Watch via our YouTube channel and Facebook page as members of our congregation take your prayer requests and pray for them live. Let us know ideas for prayer requests in the Live Chat.
Another option is to join our "Upper Braes Church Prayer" Zoom Room, where you can say a prayer out loud and others on the YouTube live stream will also hear it!
Please contact us via the church email address or Facebook page to get the login details for the Zoom prayer room.
HERE ARE SOME TIPS FOR JOINING THE ZOOM ROOM:
(1) Should you be watching on YouTube whilst you call the Zoom Room, please MUTE YouTube as otherwise we might get feedback and/or you might get distracted by the time delay or by your voice.
(2) Please do SPEAK UP when you pray, so that you are clearly heard by everyone else.
(3) Please make sure your mobile is not on "speaker phone" setting for the Zoom call, as it might also generate feedback.
(4) Once you are finished your prayer, you can end your call or stay on the line to hear the other prayers and/or pray again.

Praying together at Christmas is a beautiful tradition focusing on gratitude for Jesus' birth, blessings for family, and remembering the less fortunate, often involving simple family prayers before meals, singing carols, reading scripture, or formal services, fostering unity, hope, and love through shared reflection on God's gift of Emmanuel. It's a time to thank God for blessings, pray for those in need (like the homeless or suffering), and connect deeper as a family, finding strength in shared faith during the festive season.
