Join us this Sunday 11am as we explore the Advent theme of "joy", with our Youth Church Nativity and all-age service at the Brightons Ministry Centre as well as worship at our Slamannnan Ministry Centre. No Youth Church groups this Sunday, but creche space available. Prayer times at both locations.
THURSDAY EVENING LIVE PRAYER:
This week, we will be meeting in person in the Brightons Ministry Centre at 8pm for Thursday Evening Live Prayer. Tonight will have an Advent theme, using modern carols and times of quiet to wait and pray for the Light of the World to shine in every home

VERSE OF THE DAY: Luke 3:11.
Luke 3:11 means that genuine repentance isn't just feeling sorry but showing it through tangible acts of generosity, like sharing extra clothes and food with the needy, demonstrating love, justice, and a fundamental change of heart to prepare for the coming Jesus. It emphasizes stewardship of resources and caring for the poor, reflecting Old Testament ethics and the communal values of the emerging Christian faith.

Our Local Misson Church and local Slamannan community had fund raising events last weekend. The Evening of Song on Friday 28th raised £900 to be split equally between CHAS and UBPC.
Slammannan Community Christmas Market on Saturday 29th donated £800 to UBPC.
Thanks to all those involved!
