VIEW FROM THE PEW: 12th October 2025.
Rev Burton yesterday took us further into our new teaching series on the seven letters sent by Jesus, via John, to the seven churches of Revelation.
We were reminded that even during times of struggle and fear we must remain calm because Jesus is always with us even beyond the point of death.
Jesus is the authority and the awareness of time. The letters emphasise His intimate knowledge of the churches and His authority over them as He is the one who "walks among the golden lampstands".

Yesterday we had our Harvest Thanksgiving services in both ministry centres. The message was about being 'lights' in our community. The congregations and organisations at Upper Braes donated a huge amount of food and provisions for Martha's Pantry.
