We're delighted you are exploring the Upper Braes!
As a church family across the Upper Braes, with people from near and far sharing in our life together, we're encouraged to know you are considering being a part of our congregation. On this page, we have included a few ideas, resources and links to help you find your feet and get involved. Please contact any of our Elders, office bearers or staff if you would like to know more. We look forward to welcoming you!
For a consolidated introduction to the life of our church and the many associated groups and activities, you can also download our Welcome Pack.
If you would like to get involved, please contact us or download our volunteering card.
A lot more info can be found on our "Get Involved" page.

If you are needing support, our Pastoral Staff Team would be glad to meet with you, either at your home, in a coffee shop, or in one of our ministry centres. Download their contact card for more information.
There is also the option for anyone new to the Upper Braes Parish Church to explore membership, as a way of "putting down spiritual roots" and calling this congregation "my church family". If you would be interested in exploring this, then please speak with our Minister, Scott, or our Session Clerk, Judith. Their contact details are always on the weekly news sheet, which can be downloaded from the News page.
Whether a member or not, we encourage everyone who calls the Upper Braes their spiritual home to explore ways of Belonging. This could be:
-
-
- as part of a fellowship group, book group or short course - all great ways to grow in being Connected and Equipped. See what's on via the news sheet.
- finding a way to use your time and talents - check out the Volunteer Card above for ideas.
- giving financially to the life and purpose of the church - see our Donate page for more info on setting up a Standing Order and giving us permission to collect Gift Aid on your donations.
-
We are always delighted to have you worship with us on a Sunday, but the story of many, is that taking the next step through some or all of these ideas is really helpful to have a growing sense of Belonging to the church family and of being Connected to God in His purpose for us all.
